‘Don’t let your tongue cut your throat’

They are my totems.
I take any possible time to think about them, use all possible tools to appreciate them.
They can take you to a seashore where you enjoy the waves, floating ships on the water,..
They can take you to a seashore where you hate the wilderness, scared for the waves and darkness.

I’m a multidisciplinary artist (drawing, painting, calligraphy, graphic design, type design, video, 3D sculpture) from Iran, based in The Hague, NL.

My common ground within the different media is LANGUAGE & TYPOGRAPHY.

My interest in typography and language comes from my Persian background, which provides me with two sources of inspiration:
First, the historical significance of calligraphy in the Islamic world because of the restrictions on other forms of art.
Second, the significance of poetry and literature in daily spoken Farsi.
